"Everyone has a spirit that can be refined, a body that can be trained in some manner, a suitable path to follow. You are here to realize your inner divinity and manifest your innate enlightenment."

Morihei Ueshiba, O'Sensei

We are located at the Experimental College in the South Silo on the UC Davis campus. Map.

From outside of Davis, the easiest way to get there is to take I80 to 113 North and take the very first exit for Hutchison Drive. Turn right (East). Go straight through the stoplight for Health Science Drive. Go straight through the next stoplight at La Rue Road. You can either park in the parking garage at the third stoplight (Dairy Road) or in the parking lot across the street from it, entrance at the following intersection (Kleiber Hall Drive).

From somewhere in Davis, find La Rue Road, follow it to Hutchison Drive, and turn East towards the center of the campus and follow the parking directions just above.

You can also take any of the UC Davis buses that drop off at the Silo location. The Silo is one of the central stops.

The garage and the parking lot are both $9 for a day long pass, or $0.25 per 10 minutes at parking meters. There are a number of 2-hour max meters, mostly in the parking lot.

After parking, keep walking along Hutchison Drive. Go straight past a roundabout. There will be some buildings labeled Surge III and Surge II on the right, then some temporary trailer looking buildings on the right and a fairly empty parking lot and then a brown shingle building across from a central bus stop. If you get to a second roundabout, you have gone too far and you should look for a couple brown shingle buildings just behind you. Those are the North and South Silos (and a little equipment shed for outing club). The North Silo has some fast food options inside. The South Silo has the Experimental college (on the left) and the Craft Center (on the right). Take the stairs or elevator near the center of the South Silo and you'll find us at one end of the upstairs hallway.

If you don't have a gi wear comfortable clothing. You may want to remove any necklaces, rings, or watches to avoid possibly damaging anything. There is room to store things during class.
